Warren Township will host an open enrollment night for new kindergarten students on Monday, April 11, from 5:30-7:30 P.M. at each elementary school. To be considered for kindergarten, students must be five years old on or before August 31st. Please contact your child’s school for more Kindergarten Roundup information! The Warren Early Childhood Center will host Preschool Roundup during the day from 8:00-4:00. Students are eligible for preschool as soon as they turn three, and registrations are accepted throughout the year. Please contact the Warren Early Childhood Center at 869-4750 for more preschool information!
On Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., parents, community members, and staff are invited to attend the forum. This opportunity will provide the attendees to share their insights on educational legislation or other concerns. This is sponsored by the MSD of Warren Township Board of Education. The forum will be at the Warren Education and Community Center located at 975 N. Post Road.
For students, one of the College and Career Ready standards’ most important new requirements is that correct answers alone will not be enough. Correct answers are very important, but along with them there is a new set of “mathematical practices” that teachers will expect from students. Does your child ever take too much time to do homework… need an extra boost of self-esteem…use social media…or choose not to follow your directions? As a parent, do you ever feel like you could use some support from other parents who have the same concerns with their children as you? If so, you are encouraged to register for our upcoming PAC (Parents are the Core) sessions. Throughout the 2015-16 school year, five sessions will be offered for parents.

Pop Your Top for The Ronald McDonald House
Lakeside is collecting pop tabs for The Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House serves families whose children require care at an Indianapolis-area hospital. Money generated from recycling pop tabs helps cover expenses.
You can also report a bullying incident or safety concern by calling 317-532-3049 and leaving a message.
Reports will be investigated by Warren Township administrators. Please note, these reporting devices are not monitored 24/7 so contact 911 if this is an emergency.
